Sunday Morning Classes

The Torchbearer class is designed for Senior Adults with a desire to continue to grow in God's Word in order to be relevant witnesses in today's society. Their prayer is Ps 71:18, "Now also when I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have showed Thy strength unto this generation, and Thy power to every one that is to come.” These prayer warriors truly love God and each other.

Life Strategies is a topical study facilitated by Jackie Moore and Pat Minter. They meet in room 204 and discuss a variety of issues relating to today’s hectic lifestyle. Each week members share their life experiences in the light of God’s Word. Their goal is to grow in the grace of God and live as relevant witnesses in a hurting world.

Pathfinders is a Bible study that uses curriculum created and distributed by the International Offices of the COGOP. Facilitated by Ken Nope, members are encouraged to join in discussion as they unpack the topic for each week. You can join them every Sunday morning in room 203.

The Grads & Professionals class meets in room 208. This is a verse by verse Bible study facilitated by Yvonne Hutchinson. College students and young professionals gather in this class to probe the depths of God’s Word.

Our Hispanic Ministry meets every Sunday and Wednesday in the GYM. Cliff Anderson is our Spanish pastor. They offer a warm invitation to all who would benefit from services in the Spanish language.

Wednesday Night Classes

Relational Foundations: Experiencing Relevance in Life and Ministry is new for PRC this semester and will meet in the sanctuary. This class will allow you to re-focus your understanding of some fundamental elements of the Christian faith through the lens of the Great Commandment, which challenges us to prioritize our lives around loving God supremely and loving one another sacrificially. The class will be taught by Larry & Susan Duncan.

The Cave is a safe place for men to begin or continue the journey of TRANSFORMATION as Men Of God. M.O.S.T. group stands for Men Of Spiritual Transformation. We are a band of brothers seeking to walk in honesty and denial of isolation in the “abundant life” we’ve been given. Jesus is our core and center as we meet around Him each week. Come visit! You’ll come back!

L.I.F.T. (Ladies In Faith Together) is a gathering of women who strive to “lift” each other up in faith and service to God. This semester the ladies will be looking at The Bad Girls of the Bible. Monica Luithle facilitates this class which meets in room 209.

Word and Wind is a worship gathering combined with insightful Bible study, prayer and singing. The combination of worship and the Word create an atmosphere of faith and the moving of the Holy Spirit. Mike Luithle teaches this class and they meet in the Tea Room.

Financial Peace University: Up to Date and Better Than Ever! Numbers, charts, references and examples have been updated to reflect today’s market and the new challenges facing consumers. This 13 week video series is offered to the Peerless Road family and our community to help people achieve financial freedom. Dave Ramsey uses humor and his vast experience to make financial planning fun. Keep in mind that alumni can still attend for free. See Don Shull for more information.

Women Of the Word meets every Thursday morning and is led by Connie Kennard. W.O.W. provides a support group for women of all ages who hunger for God’s word and good Christian fellowship. This semester they will be studying How to Hear From God, by Joyce Meyer.

Our Deaf Ministry is a unique opportunity provided for our hearing impaired brothers and sisters to study the Bible and share in each others lives. This class meets on Sundays in room 209 and Wednesdays in the conference room behind the sanctuary.
