Tim Coalter, Senior Pastor
Tim Coalter has served as Senior Pastor of Peerless Road Church since August 2003. Before coming to Cleveland, he served for two years as a national evangelist, two years in youth ministry, and twenty-two years in other pastorates, including a sixteen-year pastorate at Harvest Ministries in Roanoke, VA. He was married to Kelly in 1979, and the couple has three grown children, two of which are married.
The senior pastor directly oversees ministries that include: Senior Adult Ministers, Counseling Ministries, Prayer Ministries, Finance and Administrative Committee, Properties Committee, Deacon Committee, Missions Committee, and interns. The leadership team led by the senior pastor includes both a pastoral staff and administrative personnel.
Jason Duncan, Minister of Music
Jason joined the staff of Peerless Road Church on September 1, 2001, as minister of music. He is a graduate of Emmanuel College and Lee University and holds Associate of Arts in music, Bachelor of Music Education (with a minor in religion), and Master of Church Music degrees from those institutions. A former Bradley County schoolteacher, this position marks the fulfillment of the call to ministry that has been on his life since the age of thirteen.
The ministries of the music minister include all music ministries (Praise Band, Praise Team, Sanctuary Choir, Special Music, etc.), Fine Arts (Drama, Video, etc.), Technical Services, Special Events, Public Relations, and Interns.
Cathy and Lee Baggerly, Children's Pastors
Lee and Cathy Baggerly joined the Peerless Road Church staff in the Fall of 2005. They served for many years in Children’s Ministry at the Church of God of Prophecy in AltaVista, Virginia before moving to Cleveland. Two of their most fulfilling accomplishments at Altavista were starting a Wednesday night Bible Club and a Bus Ministry that successfully ministered to several children every Wednesday night. The Baggerlys have taught children of all ages and are considered highly successful at leading outreach ministries to children that are considered unreachable. They also served as regional children’s directors for the churches throughout Virginia.
Cathy attended Tomlinson College and is presently working toward completing a degree in early childhood Development. Lee graduated from Lynchburg College in 1995 with a BA degree in History/Education. During their time in AltaVista, they received ongoing training and ministry development through the Institute for Children’s Ministry. In addition to their personal ministry, Cathy worked professionally for fourteen years as a licensed agent with Nationwide Insurance, and Lee with JCrew for sixteen years as a Computer Programmer.
Cathy and Lee were married in 1987. They have three children: Malorie, Logan, and Emma.
Wade Patterson, Youth Pastor
Wade was born and grew up in Red Bay, Alabama, a small town on the Alabama/Mississippi state line. Wade surrendered to the call of God to be a minister in 1990 at the age of 20. He began traveling the states of Alabama and Mississippi conducting revivals. In 1993, he married his wife Wenona, and in the following year he accepted his first pastorate. Since that time, he has served as Mississippi, state youth director and continued pastoring local churches. In October 2004, Wade joined the staff of Peerless Road Church. He and Wenona have two sons, Trent and Brett.
The ministries of the youth pastor include Youth Ministries Council, Student Ministries, Youth Bible Fellowship Groups, College Ministries, Summer Fire Youth Camp, recreation, transportation coordinator, and interns.
Spanish Pastor Cliff Anderson
Cliff was born and grew up in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. His parents served there as missionaries for thirty years. He and Magali were married in 1976, and have 10 children ranging from ages 3 to 28 years. In 1979 they moved to Orlando, Florida where they started the first bilingual Christian bookstore in that area.
Although he had felt the call on his life as a child, he didn’t heed this call until 1989 when he and Magali became pastors of a youth group of the Spanish Ministry where they were members. They also organized and hosted most of the fellowship events at that church. In 1997 he and his family moved to Cleveland where he became the manager and Spanish buyer of the White Wing Christian Bookstore.
He has served the church in this capacity by taking the bookstore to conferences and conventions all over the country. In 2003, again being reminded of his call, Cliff started a Hispanic Bible Fellowship Group which God has now flourished into the International Hispanic Ministry of Peerless Road Church. Cliff and Magali have a passionate desire to “Reflect the Heart of God” to the Spanish speaking population of Cleveland.
Steve Spears, Associate Pastor
Steve joined our pastoral staff in December 2006. He graduated from Lee University, Cleveland TN and Christian Faith College, Largo Florida with degrees in Theology and Church Ministry. Steve grew up in the Tampa Bay area and received the call to full-time ministry soon after his conversion at the age of 18. He and his wife, Darlene, were married in March 1981, and are blessed with 5 children. Before coming on staff, Steve served Voice of Salvation Ministries, the media arm of the
Church of God of Prophecy , as producer of
World Impact . Prior to that, he served the International Youth Department of the Church of God. He also served as a missionary to Cali, Colombia and as a youth pastor in Largo, Florida.
The ministries of the associate pastor include Bible Fellowship Groups and Small Group Ministries, Wednesday Night Ministries, Adult Ministries (families, couples, men, women, singles, senior adult), Outreach Ministries, Greeters/Ushers, Assimilation Ministries, Service Ministries and Interns.
